Beginners' classes
start in any week, and work through the next 8 classes. Initial training in the
beginners' class is separate from the rest of the grades, with a gradual
integration into the broader class. Beginners can commence on any Monday or
Saturday classes at the Koryukan.
Advanced Classes on Thursdays at the Kodokan are available to all
students from 7th Kyu (Green Belt) and above.
